I began my career at Deloitte working on a project for State of Oregon within the Government Public Sector. This project focused on developing and maintaining the Integrated Eligibility (IE) System , a centralized platform designed to assess eligibility for various state benefits, including Medicaid, SNAP benefits, child care support, and domestic violence assistance. The system comprised two distinct portals: one for citizens and one for case workers, featuring over 200 screens. It also integrated seamlessly with third-party systems to facilitate tasks such as benefit disbursement via EBT cards, interaction with child care providers, coordination for copay and insurance details, and issuing multi-lingual correspondence to citizens.

In my role as a Business Analyst, I gained comprehensive domain expertise and functional knowledge of all modules within this complex system. I served as the primary point of contact for functional queries related to specific tracks, working closely with the development team to write user stories and assist with unit testing. Later, I transitioned into a Quality Assurance (QA) role where I developed and executed test cases, worked on the Requirement Traceability Matrix, and identified design and process gaps. My efforts led to significant efficiency gains and a reduction in post-production bugs. I also performed in-depth data analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive project improvements.

As a Consultant, I primarily worked within the Maintenance and Operations (MnO) and Change Request teams. I successfully led a team of over 20 members through two major releases, demonstrating my leadership and management skills. I developed and executed test strategies for numerous change requests and bug fixes, achieving a 92% success rate. My role involved fostering collaboration among design, development, and testing teams, and leveraging my deep understanding of government policies to navigate complex challenges and ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, I showcased proficiency in agile methodologies by managing backlogs, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-priority items on time.

Key Achievement: · Responsible for end-to-end Quality Assurance activities for the new Pandemic EBT benefit system , collaborating closely with development and design teams. Successfully deployed the project to production within 12 weeks, facilitating the distribution of over 1 billion USD in benefits with no high priority defects post-production.

Community Work:

As part of Deloitte's "Giving Back to the Community" program, I took on the role of a thread lead for a project at a public school. In this capacity, I was responsible for overseeing resource allocation, assigning tasks to my team, and managing the inventory of supplies. I worked on as part of the team that is responsible for development of a Quiz Portal within the firm, which allowed individuals to register, select a domain, and take quizzes to enhance their knowledge. This portal provided an engaging and effective platform for continuous learning and professional development across various domains.

I contributed to the testing activities of the Workday application within the firm, focusing on features that enabled interviewers to register their availability and efficiently manage recruitment tasks.
